Why is organic not adequate?Updated a year ago

With organic ingredients, you can rest easy knowing they’re grown without pesticides, artificial fertilizers or other harmful synthetics that disrupt the environment and your body. Just like with food, the way skincare ingredients are processed matters.

Cold-pressing is a method of extracting oils from seeds or plants to keep all the
vital nutrients in while keeping the extra stuff out. Basically, instead of using heat and chemicals to extract oils from plants, a gentler, mechanical process is used. This is also why extra virgin ( aka cold-pressed ) olive oil is so highly regarded as a beneficial oil.

As a result cold-pressed oils:
Require no chemicals: No solvents or additives are needed to extract the oils, which makes for a cleaner product that is free of irritants and gentler on the skin.

Retain vital nutrients: Vitamins, enzymes, antioxidants and essential fatty acids often lost in chemical processing are preserved, leading to better hydration, nourishment and protection against environmental stressors.

Have a high absorption rate: Lightweight with a smaller molecular structure, cold- pressed oils are more easily absorbed into the skin for deep moisture and long-lasting hydration.

Are better for our planet: They demand less energy and nor any chemical solvents or preservatives, which can be harmful to ecosystems when they enter the water cycle
